Browser based archive script

CineSys Flame Archive Script

This is the Beta 0.5 version of our new browser based Flame archive script that can do the Flame archiving in the background.

  1. Create a new directory called "archive" within /var/www/html (i.e. mkdir -vm 755 /var/www/html/archive )
  2. Download the zip file onto the Autodesk Linux system
    (i.e. wget -nc -c -P /tmp )
  3. Extract the zip file's contents to /var/www/html/archive
    (i.e. unzip -j /tmp/ -d /var/www/html/archive/ )
  4. Set the permissions on the new files & folder (i.e. chmod -R 755 /var/www/html/archive )

To access the web based archiving page, enter this url in your Flame's web browser:
http://localhost/archive   (or substitute localhost with the system IP/DNS name for external access)

NOTE: When setting up the archive destination path, do not enter the trailing slash "/"
Correct example: /SAN/ArchiveExport
Incorrect example: /SAN/ArchiveExport/

Stay tuned for more information and please contact us with any feedback you may have. We're very excited to be developing some new tools and apps and any comments or requests would be much appreciated.

Not compatible with Mac, as Smoke on Mac does not support command line archive.
